Jack's First Holy Communion

 On April 15, 2012 Jack celebrated the sacrament of his First Holy Communion at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. That's my Grandma Marietta's rosary.

 He got decked out for the occasion. A few days before we took some portraits in his Communion garb. And, that's a prayer book from my Grandma Marietta.

 The day before First Communion, Jack's class had a retreat. Geesh, these boys are growing too fast.

 The big moment! Jack won't admit that he pushed his socks down, but I'm not convinced yet. {grin}

 Julietta was a proud little sis.

 Jack's Godmother, Darby, came from South Dakota to celebrate with us.

 She drove with Grandma and Grandpa SD.

The day before Easter, while Jack was playing soccer, the girls and I went on an Easter egg hunt.

We saw the Easter bunny! Julietta was not okay with sitting on his lap. She worked out well before hand that she would stand next to him. Gosh these girls are so different! Here {and below} is a photo that a newspaper photographer took of Ella and Liliana when they were a year older than Julietta is now.

This is how she really looks at them. Julietta is a lucky little girl. The big kids don't always get along with each other, but they [almost] always treat her like they deserve that look. And, I love it. ♥
