We waited and waited for the first snow of the winter.
On January 9, we finally got an inch or two of the fluffy stuff so we bundled ourselves, mixed a batch of hot cocoa, loaded the new sleds Santa brought for Christmas and headed to our favorite sledding hill.
For the dare devil Julietta it must have looked more like a sledding mountain!
"1, 2, 3 . . . "
and they're off!
Down the mountain they go!
And then back up for more fun!
The fourth child - which in Greek means spoiled little snow angel! {grin}
Jack managed to avoid the camera for the most part - he separated from the rest of us and had a fun time by himself. He even set a new Helms family distance record!
Liliana tired of the traditional way of sledding and decided to snowboard.
Serious sleddy snowboarders use their tongue.
