After barely making a 6 am flight and managing a very turbulent flight that resulted in Jack losing his breakfast {for the first time ever} we made it to a very rainy Washington DC.
Onto the metro we hopped.
After we dropped our things at our apartment for the week, we set off to explore the city.
Our first stop - the Museum of American History. Ella was happy to see the Obamas. She even walked with them to the First Lady exhibit.
We weren't in Kansas anymore, but we knew how to get back. {grin}
Our night at the museum was lovely.
